Legal Counsel (PQE 4-6)

Responsibilities:

• Provide general support to all teams in Legal Division;
• Conduct legal research and analysis and prepare legal updates;
• Draft/review/negotiate contracts and agreements; assist in complaints handling; approve and review new products/services; assist with the drafting or reviewing of internal policies and procedures; manage external legal counsel;
• Provide general administrative assistance to the teams; and
• Other ad hoc duties as required by the management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or above in Laws;
• Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong with 4-6 years of PQE gained from a reputable law firm or legal and compliance department of banking / financial institutions;
• Good team player with good working attitude and interpersonal and communication skills;
• Strong sense of responsibility and eager to learn;
• Sound Knowledge in banking and finance laws will be an advantage; and
• Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage
