Network Operation Engineer (i-Bank), 50-70K

We are seeking a skilled Network Operation Engineer to deliver and maintain critical application delivery infrastructure for one of our sizeable International investment banking clients.

Your new role

• Manage and support a large-scale, multi-vendor load balancing environment
• Ensure reliable application delivery across enterprise systems, supporting high volumes of TCP/IP-based application traffic
• Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues using advanced diagnostic tools, including fault analysis and failure prevention
• Handle Level 2 escalations and drive timely resolution of incidents impacting production services
• Work with internal platforms to deploy, configure, and monitor application delivery components through a centralized management system
• Contribute to automation initiatives through scripting and process improvement (e.g., Python, Ansible, PowerShell)
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for operational processes and system configurations
  
  What you'll need to succeed
  
  
• Strong foundation in networking protocols, particularly TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS
• Hands-on experience with load balancing technologies such as F5 Big-IP and A10
• Solid Unix/Linux system administration skills
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Ansible, Perl, PowerShell, or C#)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, especially during incidents or outages
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to work across global teams and technical stakeholders
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and operational practices
