Business Compliance Advisory VP (Treasury & Global Markets)

CLIENT BACKGROUND
A well-established international bank with a strong regional platform is looking to hire a Vice President within its compliance function in Hong Kong. The team works closely with front office across corporate and investment banking businesses, supporting a broad range of markets activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide day-to-day compliance advisory to business stakeholders across treasury and markets products
• Act as a key point of contact for regulatory guidance relating to securities and fixed income activities
• Partner with front office to ensure business initiatives align with applicable regulatory standards
• Support ongoing compliance framework and advisory coverage within corporate and investment banking
• Assist with regulatory interactions, internal stakeholders, and compliance risk escalation where required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 8+ years of experience in banking compliance, ideally at VP/SVP level
• Strong advisory experience covering treasury, securities, and/or bonds
• Prior exposure to corporate and investment banking compliance is essential
• Comfortable working closely with front office and providing practical guidance
• Solid understanding of regulatory expectations within Hong Kong markets
