Our client, a leading bank, is looking for a Senior Lead / PMO Lead to join their global team. You'll play a critical role in driving portfolio planning ($100+M Portfolio), financial management, resource prioritization, and governance across a large-scale technology function.

This is a highly visible position, partnering with senior stakeholders to oversee budgets, headcount planning, hiring, demand management, and strategic portfolio decision-making. You'll help ensure the right resources are aligned to the highest business priorities while providing insight and leadership across a complex global environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial management activities.
• Manage portfolio budgets, direct costs, hiring plans, and headcount tracking.
• Drive resource and demand management across a global portfolio of initiatives.
• Partner with senior business and technology leaders to resolve priority, capacity, and resource conflicts.
• Support portfolio governance, investment planning, and executive reporting.
• Monitor financials, resource utilization, and portfolio performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Oversee global cost allocation and recharge processes.
• Deliver management reporting and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Coach and develop junior team members.
• Act as a trusted partner to senior leadership, supporting the smooth running of portfolio and business management activities.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in PMO, portfolio management, business management, or strategic planning.
• Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting expertise.
• Experience managing workforce planning, resource allocation, and headcount reporting.
• E xcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Strong ana lytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining focus on broader business objectives.

Nice to Have

• Experience within a large multinational or complex matrix organisation.
• Knowledge of portfolio governance and project delivery frameworks.
• Understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using QlikView, Python, Microsoft Copilot, or similar reporting and analytics tools.
