Global Semi/Hardware Analyst | Multi-Billion Global TMT Team

Selby Jennings has partnered with a prominent HK-based Global TMT Senior PM at an established global hedge fund. The PM is currently seeking an experienced senior analyst to focus on Global Semi/Hardware.

The book will mainly trade across India, Japan, China, and US with small exposure to Europe. It is NOT sector, country or factor neutral. Typically the investment horizon would be ~1 year on the long side and 6-9 months on the short side.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience researching global semi/hardware equities; experience investing in a bear market cycle in tech is a must.
• Collaborative; willing to co-cover some names with another senior tech analyst
• LO and single CIO L/S equity investors are preferred
• Strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial modeling and financial statements
• Ability to communicate effectively and express complex ideas succinctly
• Willingness to be based in Hong Kong
