Settlement Operations Officer

Job Title: Settlement Operations Officer

Location: Central, Hong Kong

Main Responsibilities:

1. Perform daily settlement operations, including Hong Kong equities, US stocks, A/B-shares, China Connect, and bonds
2. Ensure post-trade processing and reconciliations are completed accurately and in a timely manner
3. Handle pre-matching of settlement instructions, and daily booking and settlement processes
4. Liaise with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve trade and settlement issues
5. Handle corporate actions announcements and process all entitlements
6. Process IPO subscriptions, allotments, and refunds
7. Arrange daily and monthly statement dispatches
8. Participate in system modification and UAT testing
9. Prepare daily and monthly reports for management
10. Prepare ad-hoc reports and provide administrative support as required
11. Support other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

1. Degree holder or above in Business / Finance / Accounting / Law or related disciplines
2. 3–5 years of relevant experience in settlement/post-trade operations
3. Conversant with CCASS / DCASS, SFC rules, and the SFO
4. Familiar with market practices and related systems
5. Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness
6. Good problem-solving and analytical skills
7. Proficient in PC skills, including Excel and MS Word
8. Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
