About the job

Responsibilities:

  1. Draft, review and negotiate various commercial agreements and other legal documents;
  2. Participate in new projects & products development by providing compliance advice and reviewing sales/marketing materials, ect;
  3. Prepare the policy and guidelines of the new business development or regulatory changes;
  4. Support the internal and external audit reviews, and prepare the internal control assessment plan and reports;
  5. Support the senior management to prepare the compliance training plan, presentation deck and keep abreast of the regulatory changes;
  6. Provide compliance guidelines and support the routine compliance work, including licensing, AML/CFT, KYC, marketing material review, AEOI/CRS/FATCA, and regulatory filing processes;
  7. Prepare the meeting resolutions, minutes, meeting materials, statutory filings, director/officer changes, corporate reports, as well as annual declarations and attestations;
  8. Assist to maintain proper and accurate company secretarial records and statutory documents;
  9. Perform other related duties and ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree holder or above in Law, Finance, or related disciplines;
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in asset management or consulting firms;
  3. Excellent drafting and communication skills in Chinese and English, fluency in Putonghua is essential for this role;
  4. Good attention to detail with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and self-disciplined;
  5. Proficient with Microsoft Office application including Word and Excel.
