Compliance & Risk Management Manager(Corporate Business)- Wholesale Banking

About the Role

To manage and coordinate the risk control measures under the scope of compliance, credit, and operational risk management; and work with different risk departments and Legal & Compliance Department on formulating and implementing risk monitoring and self-assessment measures for wholesale banking sectors.

Major Duties

1. žTo perform routine monitoring and reporting of credit, operational, legal and compliance risk related situations;
2. žTo communicate and negotiate with the different departments regarding the issues encountered in daily operation and provide comment from risk perspective;
3. žTo implement self-assessment exercises on the implementation of various risk control and monitoring measures, and evaluate the execution of the measures in wholesale banking departments;
4. žTo organize and provide training on risk related topics for frontline staff of wholesale banking departments;
5. žTo coordinate wholesale frontline departments on revising and updating various guidelines and procedural manuals in relation to risk prevention and control measures.

Requirements

1. žhold bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field such as Finance, Economics, or Business Administration;
2. žbe familiar with wholesale banking products, and have at least 3-year experience in related fields;
3. žpossess sound knowledge in compliance, credit and operational risk management.
4. žbe proficient in writing and communicating in English and Chinese, with good communication and management skills
5. žbe able to work independently and under pressure
