Director, Product Control, Finance

Work Duties

• Validate daily PnL based on trading activities from various systems;

• Perform independent price verification on diverse types of equity derivatives;

• Collaborate with trading desks on significant PnL breaches;

• Ensure sign-off or confirmation from various business lines for daily PnL;

• Communicate with Operations and trading desks to synthesize and streamline multi-source data in order to fit Finance requirements;

• Provide advice on system enhancements and communicate with IT closely for Finance automation process;

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including front desks and Risk Department on valuation models;

• Act as Finance key person on Type 11 application and communicate with system providers and consultant on IPV requirements.

Work Requirements

• Master Degree holder, major in accounting or other finance related subjects;

• CPA and CFA holder is preferred;

• Minimum 5 years' work experience in the field of Product Control in sizable financial institutions;

• Familiar with valuation of equity derivatives;

• Strong and solid knowledge on financial instruments and market operations;

• Proficient in setting up valuation models;

• Independent, strong analytical abilities and communication skill, good time management and high attention to details;
