Senior Officer - Settlement

1. Perform daily settlement operation, includes but not limited to Hong Kong equities, US, Foreign Exchange (FX) other Overseas equities and options and Virtual assets.
2. Ensure all post trade processing, reconciliations are properly and correctly completed
3. Handle pre-matching of settlement instructions, daily booking and settlement process
4. Liaise with internal & external counter parties to resolve trade and settlement issues
5. Collect corporate actions announcement through CCASS, HKEX, share registrars and sub-custodians
6. Check and process all entitlements
7. Process subscriptions for IPO, allotment and refund
8. Prepare daily reports and administrative support to Supervisor as required
9. Participate in system modification and UAT testing
10. Handle ad hoc projects as assigned
11. Daily and monthly statement dispatches
12. knowledge of DCASS is preferred

Requirements

At least 5-10 years of relevant working experience

1. Be conversant with CCASS / DCASS, SFC rules and SFO, knowledge of Fund, Virtual Asset would be a plus
2. Be familiar with the market trend and new product / system development
3. Accuracy and thoroughness in work
4. Good problem-solving and analytical skills
5. Good team player, supportive and flexible to take up team tasks
6. Good PC knowledge includes but limited to Excel and MS Word
7. Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
8. Willing to learn and progress.
