  • Our client is a well-established European banking group with a strong international presence. They are currently seeking an Associate, HR Shared Services to join their lean and collaborative HR team in Hong Kong. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior HR professional who is looking to gain broad exposure across HR operations within the banking industry.

Your new role
  • Support day-to-day HR operations and administrative processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including background checks, system access arrangements, documentation, and employee records maintenance.
  • Provide administrative support for learning and development initiatives, including training enrollment, logistics coordination, and record management.
  • Assist with recruitment operations, including interview scheduling, candidate coordination, and communication with hiring managers and external vendors.
  • Support visa applications, renewals, and related immigration documentation for employees.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, external service providers, and regulatory bodies where required.
  • Maintain accurate HR data, personnel files, and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the wider HR team on departmental projects and initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR operations, HR administration, shared services, or related HR support functions.
  • Experience within banking, financial services, or multinational corporations would be an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across different teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin would be a plus.
