Business Analyst - Top Investment Bank

This prestigious Global Investment Bank is looking for a Business Analyst who has hands-on experience of engaging with Development Teams and Business Analysis to join its dynamic business here in Hong Kong.

Your new role

• Partner with Product Owners and cross-functional stakeholders in defining product vision, priorities, and execution strategies.
• Work closely with stakeholders to establish project scope, identify business requirements, and translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Understand end-user requirements and deliver insights that contribute to designing a holistic and seamless user experience.
• Drive the full project lifecycle from feasibility assessment, business analysis, documentation, solution design, testing, implementation, and post-production support.
• Perform detailed business analysis, prepare user stories, define workflows, and recommend process improvements or system enhancements.
• Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, resources, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery within agreed scope and deadlines.
• Coordinate and manage UAT execution, capturing defects and ensuring successful resolution with relevant teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure tasks are delivered on time and aligned with defined scope.
• Prepare communication materials such as project status updates, working group materials, and management reporting.
• Support stakeholder coordination, issue resolution, and escalation management when needed.

What you'll need to succeed

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  
• 
  4+ years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or related roles; experience in Retail / Private Banking / Wealth Management is an advantage.
  
• 
  Basic understanding of trade lifecycle, investment products, private banking and products we offer to clients.
  
• 
  Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset.
  
• 
  Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions and levels.
  
• 
  Ability to understand complex topics and articulate them clearly in both business and technical contexts.
  
• 
  Exposure to Agile development, Design Thinking, or User-Centered Design frameworks is a plus.
  
• 
  Strong project management, problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be advantageous.
