Business Risk Specialist (12-month contract)

You will be joining a leading global wealth management organisation, supporting front-line teams through strong risk and control practices.

Your new role

• Review cases that do not meet investment suitability disclosure requirements in line with an established control review methodology.
• Assess front-office client communications, including emails, call reports, and call recordings where required.
• Identify cases that require escalation and discuss findings with Front Line teams.
• Work within time-sensitive deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

What you'll need to succeed

• 1-2 years' experience in risk, controls, compliance, audit, investigations, or related functions within private banking / wealth management.
• Good knowledge of investment products (FX, derivatives, bonds, structured products, equities) and familiarity with MAS and HKMA requirements on investment suitability are preferred.
• Has a good understanding of Investment Suitability.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with Front Line teams
• Fluency in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is required for regional communication and call reviews.
