Your new role
  • Serve as the primary relationship contact for quantitative and electronic trading clients across Asia.
  • Monitor start-of-day trading readiness and ensure trading systems are fully operational before market open.
  • Oversee intraday client order flow and proactively identify trading anomalies, exceptions, or performance issues.
  • Coordinate incident management and escalation across technology, operations, compliance, and surveillance teams.
  • Support client onboarding activities, including account setup, trading configuration, risk limits, and connectivity requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve trading-related enquiries from clients, exchanges, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyse trading data and workflow metrics to improve client experience and operational efficiency.
  • Partner closely with front office trading desks and technology teams to support low-latency execution infrastructure.
  • Stay informed on market developments, regulatory requirements, and electronic trading trends across regional equity markets.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience within electronic trading, prime brokerage, execution services, market connectivity, trading support, or client services environments.
  • Strong understanding of equity market structure and electronic trading workflows.
  • Practical knowledge of FIX Protocol and trading connectivity architecture.
  • Experience supporting institutional, hedge fund, quantitative, or algorithmic trading clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify trends or issues.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to interact with senior clients and internal business partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Familiarity with risk controls, regulatory requirements, and incident management processes within financial markets.
  • Exposure to scripting, automation, or data analysis tools would be advantageous.
