Job Description
- Lead and manage the Equity Investment Team, including portfolio managers and research analysts.
- Define and execute equity investment strategies aligned with the firm's overall business and investment objectives.
- Oversee portfolio construction, risk management, and investment research processes to ensure disciplined and consistent investment outcomes.
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide strategic guidance on asset allocation and investment decisions.
- Identify investment opportunities through in-depth analysis of global and regional markets, industry trends, and macroeconomic developments.
- Drive a culture of excellence through coaching, mentoring, and talent development within the investment team.
- Collaborate closely with senior management and key stakeholders, communicating investment views, portfolio performance, and market outlook effectively.
- Ensure adherence to investment governance standards and best practices across all investment activities.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in equity investing, asset management, or related investment disciplines.
- Demonstrated success managing equity portfolios across China and/or international markets.
- Strong and verifiable track record of generating consistent investment performance through multiple market cycles.
- Extensive experience in equity research, company valuation, portfolio construction, and risk management.
- Experience managing diversified and multi-strategy equity portfolios.
- Strong familiarity with both China A-share and overseas equity markets.
- Solid foundation in accounting, financial analysis, and financial modeling.
- CFA charterholder preferred.
- Programming and quantitative research capabilities are viewed favorably.
- Strong analytical and investment decision-making skills with the ability to generate differentiated investment insights.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing investment teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex market environments and evolving economic conditions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative, results-oriented, and capable of influencing investment outcomes at a senior level.
- Passion for mentorship and talent development.
