Job Description

As a Head of Corporate Development, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Lead end-to-end fundraising strategy including equity, debt, and hybrid financing solutions
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute capital-raising opportunities with institutional investors, banks, and strategic partners
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investors, private equity firms, venture capital, and financial institutions
  • Oversee preparation of investor materials (pitch decks, financial models, IMs, due diligence packs)
  • Structure and negotiate financing terms, including valuation, covenants, and capital structure optimization
  • Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, finance, and external advisors
  • Drive corporate finance initiatives including capital allocation, liquidity planning, and balance sheet management
  • Support M&A activities and strategic investments as part of broader capital strategy
  • Partner with senior leadership to align fundraising strategy with corporate growth plans
  • Monitor market conditions and provide insights on funding timing, structure, and risk
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements related to fundraising activities
The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Corporate Development should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or corporate development
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and capital structuring expertise
  • Deep understanding of capital markets, investor landscape, and financing instruments
  • Experience managing complex negotiations with investors and financial institutions
  • Excellent strategic thinking and ability to translate business plans into financial strategies
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with executive-level stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
  • High level of commercial acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
