Job Description

• Conduct deep fundamental research on global technology companies across key subsectors, including:
• Semiconductors
• Hardware & Electronics
• Digital Infrastructure
• Generate differentiated long and short investment ideas through rigorous bottom-up analysis.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation frameworks, and earnings forecasts.
• Analyze industry trends, competitive dynamics, technology developments, and regulatory changes impacting investment opportunities.
• Conduct channel checks, expert calls, management meetings, industry conferences, and primary research.
• Prepare high-quality investment memos and present recommendations directly to the Founder/CIO.
• Monitor portfolio holdings, earnings releases, and market developments to identify risks and opportunities.
• Work closely with portfolio management and investment teams on position sizing, catalysts, and risk assessment.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree or above from a top-tier university.
• 3-10 years of relevant investment research experience, with a strong focus on the technology sector.
• Proven experience gained at:

• Leading hedge funds
• Long-only asset managers
• Global investment banks
• Private investment firms
• Reputable investment research platforms
• Candidates with international or overseas research experience are highly preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of developing investment recommendations and generating actionable investment ideas within the technology sector.

Technical & Investment Skills

• Deep understanding of global technology sectors and business models.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to generate actionable investment ideas with independent conviction.
• Experience conducting extensive primary research and developing differentiated insights.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Language

• Native Mandarin speaker is essential.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with both Chinese and international management
• Candidates with experience covering US-listed, Hong Kong-listed, China ADR, and broader global technology companies will be viewed favorably.
