[New Vacancy - native Korean required] Market and Credit Risk Manager

Job Description

1. Assisting to streamline the operation of Supporting Functions in relevant to risk management and other planning, accounting and audit matters
2. Supporting communication with headquarter and local employees regarding middle/back office related issues such as risk management, accounting, IT, etc
3. Supporting internal risk management (including IT risk if possible) and assisting the implementation of HKMA’s regulations
4. Reviewing and updating management information report
5. Coordinating periodic Risk Management Committee meeting with headquarter and local management
6. Writing periodic business performance reports
7. Responding to various requests from headquarter or external regulatory agencies
8. Support any ad hoc task or project assigned by reporting manager and/or management

Requirement

1. native Korean language, fluent written & verbal English, knowledge in Chinese is a plus
2. min. 8 years of work experience in relevant position; we value potential and are open to adjusting the position level based on your unique experience
3. relevant professional qualification such as Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and/or HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) for Risk Management (e.g., ECF-CRM or ECF-ORM) is highly preferred
4. Must have strong proficiency in MS-office, especially Excel
5. Basic to intermediate level of accounting knowledge
