Project Manager

Main Responsibilities

1. Coordinate actions between Operations teams in Asia and all stakeholders (IT, Compliance, Legal, Front Office)
2. Be in charge of PMO activities (planning, governance, reporting, dashboards and progress reports, etc.)
3. Collect and formalize user business requirements, prepare test cases for the operational teams, and act as a liaison between users and IT teams during projects
4. Maintain an up-to-date RAID log and provide up-to-date project status reports to various forums, in both written and verbal form
5. Carry out studies on existing set-ups to identify areas for improvement
6. Prepare and implement Change Management plans for Operations teams
7. Participate in transversal projects

Experience/ Skills Required

Education

1. Master's degree, with a strong academic background in Financial Engineering, Finance, Economics or Engineering

Experience

1. 3 to 5 years' minimum experience in Project Management, including prior experience in Investment Banking Operations
2. PM experience on offshoring projects highly required, or at least on reorganizational projects

Skills & Competencies

1. Excellent Project Management skills and stakeholders' management
2. Good knowledge of the Operations department in an Investment Bank, with solid product knowledge
3. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose solutions
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other PC applications
5. Fluent in both written and spoken English
6. Self-motivated, disciplined, solution-oriented and team-oriented, with strong attention to detail and a sense of commitment and responsibility.
