Job Duties:
The Senior System Analyst / System Analyst is responsible for the business requirement analysis, the completion of functional specifications, the software quality assurance tests and development of testing tools. In addition, this role acts as a key liaison between business users and the technical team, ensuring that requirements are accurately defined and effectively translated into actionable system specifications.

The Senior System Analyst / System Analyst is responsible for the business requirement analysis, the completion of functional specifications, the software quality assurance tests and development of testing tools. In addition, this role acts as a key liaison between business users and the technical team, ensuring that requirements are accurately defined and effectively translated into actionable system specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Business Requirement Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes to identify gaps and opportunities. Gather, refine, and document business needs into actionable requirements.
- System Design & Specification: Transform business requirements into detailed Functional Specifications, including system narratives, file/data layouts, and process workflows.
- Technical Liaison: Serve as the "bridge" by effectively communicating technical constraints to business users and business logic to development teams.
- Software Quality Assurance (QA): Design comprehensive test plans and lead / execute testing cycles. Ensure all software deliverables meet rigorous security and performance standards.
- Testing Tool Development: Develop and maintain automated testing scripts or simulation tools to streamline the QA process and improve delivery speed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Jenkins, Selenium, Robot Framework, JMeter or Cucumber, preferably within the financial industry, including a proven track record of participating large-scale projects. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of System Analyst
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in designing and developing systems using Ruby, Java, Python, JavaScript, and database technologies on Linux platforms. Experience in Ruby and Cucumber is an advantage.
- Analytical Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex functional requirements, anticipate challenges, and develop flexible solutions.
- Business As Usual Support: Standard office hours with a requirement for occasional night shift work and potential for "On-Call" rotation.
