Job Description
As an IT Operations Support Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing structured cabling and data center operations to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards for IT infrastructure.
- Managing vendor relationships for maintenance and upgrades related to structured cabling and data centers.
- Monitoring system performance and implementing improvements where necessary.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related challenges.
- Documenting processes and maintaining accurate records of IT operations activities.
- Supporting special projects related to technology upgrades and system migrations.
A successful IT Operations Support Manager should have:
- A solid understanding of structured cabling and data center operations.
- Experience in IT infrastructure within the financial services industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant IT systems and tools.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
