About the role
As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a vital role in conducting data entry, accounts receivable / payable and assisting in month-end closing.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting operations with a strong emphasis on accounts receivable / payable
- Address payment and receipt inquiries from diverse stakeholders
- Prepare and validate collection reports to ensure accuracy
- Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare journal entries
- Manage a high volume of data entry transactions efficiently
- Contribute to various ad-hoc projects to support departmental initiatives
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounts receivable / accounts payable
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functional formulas
- Strong ability to manage high volumes of data input efficiently
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Immediate availability or a short notice period preferred
