Our Client is seeking an L3 Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain the platforms, tooling, and automation that power our applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain cloud-native platform infrastructure to support application development and deployment.
  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to streamline software delivery.
  • Manage and optimise Kubernetes-based environments (EKS), ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Create and maintain automation using Go and/or Bash scripting to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product and application teams to understand requirements and deliver platform solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex platform and infrastructure issues, providing L3 escalation support.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform.
  • Ensure platform security, reliability, and performance across cloud-native architectures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation and optimisation.


Key Requirements
  • Experience: Strong experience in DevOps and Platform Engineering environments.
  • Kubernetes: Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
  • Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting and automation skills using Go and/or Bash.
  • CI/CD: Experience developing and enhancing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Knowledge of IaC practices and cloud-native architectures.
  • Software Engineering Background: Strong development experience is highly preferred.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Complex Projects: Experience delivering and supporting complex technical projects beyond standard web or mobile application environments.
