Job Description
This is a principal-level role working in close partnership with the CIO and investment team, focused on integrating AI into the core research and decision-making process.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy LLM-driven tools to enhance investment research workflows
- Build a unified data layer integrating internal and external structured and unstructured datasets
- Design and implement scalable AI infrastructure, including model serving, retrieval systems, and data pipelines
- Partner with investment professionals to identify and evaluate high-impact AI applications
- Advance select initiatives toward production-grade systems suitable for investment use
- Strong experience building applied LLM systems (agents, retrieval, orchestration)
- Full-stack capability with ability to deliver end-to-end solutions independently
- Solid grounding in data engineering and cloud-based infrastructure
- Judgement to balance technical rigor with speed and practical utility
- Clear communicator, comfortable operating in a small, high-performing team
- Exposure to financial markets or investment research environments
- Familiarity with market data, filings, and related information sources
- Experience designing systems where reliability and data integrity are critical
