Job Description
As a Group Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's objectives in the technology and telecoms sector.
- Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensuring effective internal controls and risk management practices are in place.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to provide financial insights and drive strategic decision-making.
- Supervising and mentoring the accounting and finance team in Shenzhen.
- Coordinating with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Driving continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
A successful Group Financial Controller should have:
- A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in financial management, especially within the technology and telecoms industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with local and international accounting standards and practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
