Job Description
As a Regional Finance Systems Business Partner, your main responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the APAC subject matter expert for finance processes, systems, integrations, and data flows across firmwide platforms.
- Partner with global Finance and Technology teams to ensure regional requirements are incorporated into strategic initiatives.
- Gather and document business requirements, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Champion AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, controls, and user experience.
- Design, build, and support automation and workflow solutions using Power Platform and other low-code/no-code technologies.
- Develop scripts, reports, integrations, and data solutions using tools such as Python, SQL, and VBA where appropriate.
- Lead UAT activities and support implementation, deployment, and stabilization of regional initiatives.
- Act as the primary bridge between APAC business users and US-based Finance and Technology teams.
- Analyze data and business processes to identify improvement and automation opportunities.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities by validating data integrity and process performance.
A successful Regional Finance Systems Business Partner should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in finance systems, finance transformation, business analysis, or process improvement roles.
- Strong understanding of finance operations, accounting processes, and enterprise financial systems.
- Experience with Power Platform, workflow automation tools, or similar low-code/no-code technologies.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis and scripting tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, or VBA.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project delivery skills.
- Ability to work independently in a highly matrixed global environment.
