Job Description
- Lead and develop the Asset Allocation Investment team, providing strategic direction and people management.
- Formulate and enhance strategic and tactical asset allocation frameworks across multi-asset portfolios.
- Conduct macroeconomic and capital market research to support investment recommendations.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders on portfolio strategy, ALM, capital efficiency, and investment initiatives.
- Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, and market developments.
- Present investment views and recommendations to senior management and relevant committees.
- Drive continuous improvement in investment processes, governance, and analytical capabilities.
- Extensive experience in asset allocation, portfolio management, investment strategy, ALM, or institutional investing.
- Proven experience managing and leading investment teams.
- Strong understanding of strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk management, and capital markets.
- Actuarial qualification and/or actuarial background is highly preferred.
- Candidates from leading insurance companies, asset management firms, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, or institutional investors are strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of insurance investment frameworks, regulatory capital considerations, and asset-liability management principles is highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Native or fluent Mandarin Chinese writing skills are essential, with the ability to prepare high-quality investment reports, research papers, and presentations in Chinese.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required for interaction with regional and international stakeholders.
- Leadership role with responsibility for a strategically important asset allocation function.
