Account Maintenance & KYC Officer - Banking (12-Mth Contract)

Key responsibilities:

• Manage customer account opening, closure, maintenance, information updates, and system settings to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Oversee account administration, including reporting, dormant/hold/release statuses, statements, charges, and customer documentation
• Support Clearing and Deposits operations while ensuring documentation complies with KYC, AML/CFT, and Companies Registry requirements
• Prepare management reports and ad hoc projects, providing data-driven insights while supporting system development, UAT, testing, and implementation
• Guide junior team members and collaborate across departments to strengthen account servicing, knowledge sharing, compliance, and operational efficiency

Candidate profile:

• 5+ years' banking experience in customer account documentation, with 1+ year in a checker role preferred
• Diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred, with experience supporting system projects, UAT, drill testing, and implementation
• Hands-on PC skills required; proficiency in MS Excel, VBA, Excel Macro, or Alteryx is advantageous
• Working knowledge of KYC, AML/CFT, and Companies Registry practices, with strong English and Chinese communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organised, and collaborative, with the ability to manage deadlines, identify discrepancies, and share knowledge across teams
