Our client is a Stable and Well-Established Foreign Corporate & Investment bank in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for a Assistant Manager, KYC Advisory (KYC, AML, CDD) to join their team to expand their business capacity in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the review and onboarding process for new corporate/global banking client accounts (Listed Companies, Non-Bank Financial Institutions, and Banks), including identity verification.
  2. Work closely with business units to conduct the full suite of KYC & Customer Due Diligence processes (onboarding, ongoing periodic reviews, and trigger event reviews) in accordance with internal policies and procedures for corporate clients.
  3. Ensure proper documentation, maintenance, and updates of customer profiles.
  4. Collaborate closely with front-office staff to collect KYC and onboarding documentation from clients.
  5. Partner with business units and the compliance team to assess risks and compliance issues associated with customers or products to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.
  6. Provide professional advice to business units regarding the client onboarding process.
  7. Work with the compliance unit to ensure operational and AML procedures comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  8. Perform ongoing reviews of policies and procedures to ensure operations adhere to HKMA requirements.
  9. Prepare management reports as required.
  10. Perform ad-hoc business-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above.
  2. 6+ years of KYC / Customer Due Diligence / Enhanced Due Diligence experience gained within the Corporate Banking industry.
  3. Relevant professional qualifications are highly preferred (e.g., ECF on AML, holder of AAMLP or CAMLP).
  4. Sound knowledge of banking operational procedures, banking products, loan facilities, and KYC requirements.
  5. Strong knowledge of Hong Kong banking regulatory requirements is an advantage.
  6. Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  7. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Manager position.
