System Support Engineer ($30K) | Leading Financial Firm

Job Responsibilities

• Provide daily system support and administration for Windows servers and IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the availability of business-critical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Perform system installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management.
• Support Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, Office 365, and related technologies.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and security settings.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Assist in infrastructure projects, system migration, and technology enhancement initiatives.
• Maintain proper system documentation and operational procedures.
• Participate in occasional after-office-hour support when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
• Knowledge of VMware, virtualisation platforms, backup solutions, or cloud technologies is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
