Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end BI and data projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Partner with senior management and business stakeholders to understand business requirements, define KPIs, and translate them into data solutions.
• Manage the full BI development life cycle, including solution design, data modelling, dashboard development, testing, UAT, and production rollout.
• Develop dashboard POCs and Power BI reports to validate business requirements and drive decision-making.
• Work closely with Data Engineers to design and deliver scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to Data Engineers, ensuring project delivery and best practices.
• Oversee data integration, transformation, and governance activities using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.
• Monitor project risks, data quality issues, and platform performance, driving continuous improvements across the data ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Data, BI, Analytics or Data Engineering projects.
• Proven experience gathering requirements and engaging with senior management and business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end BI development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards and dashboard POCs.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks, PySpark, SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, or similar.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
