Job Description:

  1. Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities with institutional investors and investment consultants across assigned offshore markets.
  2. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional prospects, clients, and global investment consultants with a presence across Southeast Asia, Korea, and Europe.
  3. Sales Execution: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and client engagement to onboarding, working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored investment solutions and product offerings.
  4. Client Coverage: Support the development and expansion of key institutional client relationships, identifying opportunities to grow assets under management and deepen client engagement.
  5. Market Coverage: Execute business development initiatives and marketing activities to enhance Value Partners' institutional presence across targeted offshore markets.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with investment, product, client servicing, compliance, and operations teams to ensure efficient delivery of solutions and a seamless client experience.
  7. Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client developments to identify business opportunities and support strategic initiatives.

Job Requirement:

  1. 5-8 years of institutional sales, client relationship management, business development, or investment-related experience gained within asset management, private markets, investment banking, securities, or broader financial services.
  2. Demonstrated experience in servicing or developing relationships with institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, or financial institutions.
  3. Prior exposure to institutional markets in Southeast Asia, Korea, and/or Europe is highly preferred.
  4. Good understanding of institutional investment products, capital markets, and asset management industry dynamics.
  5. Proven relationship-building, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both clients and internal partners.
  6. Strong commercial acumen with a proactive and results-oriented approach to business development.
  7. Prior consulting experience and/or established relationships with institutional investment consultants would be a strong advantage.
  8. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. CFA, CAIA, MBA, or other relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.
  9. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin. Additional Asian or European language capabilities would be beneficial.
  10. Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
