Finance Manager[A-SA level]

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing and submitting the company’s statutory financial statements. Be responsible for the compilation, timely submission, and compliance management of various regulatory reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
2. Manage the full spectrum of daily financial accounting operations, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and month-end closing procedures. Perform specialized accounting treatments for the company’s core business lines – such as loans, bonds, equities, fund management, banking products, and underwriting fees;
3. Coordinate and support external and internal audits, annual report preparation and all other routine financial compliance activities;
4. Support tax affairs, including tax calculations, tax filings and internal tax reviews;
5. Undertake other ad-hoc financial tasks and special projects assigned by the management.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related majors; CPA, ACCA, HKICPA qualification is highly preferred;
2. 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in financial accounting or reporting within banks, Hong Kong investment banks, securities firms, or other financial institutions. Candidates with a background in banking or investment banking will be given preference;
3. In‑depth knowledge of HKFRS and IFRS, coupled with practical experience in financial asset accounting and regulatory reporting;
4. Experience in taxation is preferred;
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels. A strong team player with a solid work ethic and the willingness to take on multiple functions;
6. Proficient in MS office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
7. Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
