Role Overview

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain high-performance software systems aligned with enterprise standards. You will collaborate closely with product and operations teams in a fast-paced Agile and DevOps environment, ensuring the seamless delivery and proactive monitoring of new software features.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Architecture & Development: Architect and develop robust, scalable software solutions according to client standards and architectural guidelines.
  2. Product Collaboration: Partner closely with the product team to design, refine, and deliver impactful new features.
  3. DevOps & Deployment: Work within an Agile framework to deploy new software releases seamlessly, adhering strictly to release processes.
  4. System Monitoring: Assist in monitoring production systems to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Critical Technical Skills

  1. Java & Spring Expertise: 7+ years of experience building enterprise-grade Java services, with at least 5+ years dedicated to the Spring Framework.
  2. Event-Driven Architecture: Solid experience implementing message queues and event-driven systems, specifically using ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
  3. API Development: Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful services, with strong proficiency in OpenAPI and Swagger.
  4. Microservices: Proven hands-on experience designing and deploying microservices architectures.
  5. Domain Knowledge: Practical knowledge or direct experience working with the FIX protocol.
  6. Agile Testing: Deep understanding of automated testing best practices within an Agile development lifecycle.
  7. CI/CD & DevOps: Strong grasp of SDLC best practices using Git, Jenkins, Continuous Integration, Docker, Nexus, and Kubernetes.
  8. Design Frameworks: Advanced knowledge of software design patterns and enterprise integration patterns (EIP).
