Middle Office Specialist

You'll help ensure accurate, timely trade operations while strengthening controls and improving workflows. Gain broader exposure to financial markets and trade operations, with opportunities to build middle-office expertise and contribute to process improvements.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the full trade lifecycle, including trade booking, settlement, confirmation, reconciliation and counterparty communication
• Process transactions across Cash Equities, Equity Swaps, FX, Futures & Options, Fixed Income, Rates and other OTC/Exotic products
• Ensure transactions and daily reports are processed accurately and on time
• Handle Stock Loan processing and reconciliation, as well as Cash Transfers and Margin Payments
• Process corporate actions across the full lifecycle, from announcement through to payment
• Identify and escalate workflow issues and operational control gaps
• Contribute to automating, optimising and streamlining operational processes where possible
• Maintain and update operational manuals and procedures
• Support projects and other ad-hoc operational tasks as required

Candidate profile:

• University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• Strong understanding of derivatives and products in other markets
• Strong problem-solving skills are a must
• Positive mindset and a can-do attitude
• Proficiency in professional computer applications is a plus, such as Python or VBA
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
• Strong sense of responsibility and good work ethic
• Good command of spoken and written English
