Portfolio Manager, KIP

A leading investment bank is hiring an Portfolio Manager for its asset management department in Hong Kong (can sponsor working visa) .

Requirements

1. Degree holder in Finance / Accounting or related disciplines, MBA or CFA candidate preferred;
2. 5+ years experience in research or investment within public funds;
3. 2+ years experience in ETF-related strategies and management is a plus;
4. In-depth knowledge of the rules, dynamics, and regulatory environment of A-share and/or Hong Kong stock markets. Familiarity with derivatives and experience in public/private fund investments is highly desirable;
5. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin is essential).

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage all aspects of equity portfolios, including investment strategy formulation, stock selection, portfolio construction, and ongoing performance monitoring;
2. Participate in the management and investment research team, contributing to idea generation, due diligence, and portfolio reviews;
3. Oversee and manage public/private authorized funds and SMA, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines;
4. Take on responsibilities for ETF management, including lifecycle management, tracking error monitoring, and efficiency optimization;
5. Collaborate with the team to broaden market coverage, refine research processes, and improve overall investment performance;
6. Engage in ad-hoc strategic projects and initiatives within the asset management department.
