Technical Project Manager, Prime Brokerage/Risk Management, Investment Bank

Key Areas of Responsibilities

1. Lead the end-to-end delivery of Prime Brokerage and Risk Management projects, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
2. Partner with Front Office, Risk, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Technology stakeholders to define business requirements and deliver strategic solutions.
3. Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful project execution.
4. Perform business analysis and contribute to solution architecture, system design, development, testing, and integration activities where required.
5. Collaborate with internal development teams and external vendors to deliver scalable, resilient, and high-performance technology solutions.
6. Play a key role in the evolution of the firm's risk management platform, including trade capture, position management, P&L, exposure, margin, and risk analytics capabilities.
7. Enhance and extend the ACE Suite while ensuring seamless integration with front-to-back trading, risk, and operational systems.
8. Drive process optimization, automation, and the adoption of AI technologies to improve operational efficiency, development productivity, and user experience.
9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, governance standards, risk controls, and operational resilience objectives.
10. Support new business initiatives, product launches, market expansions, and client onboarding activities across the Prime Brokerage business.

Requirements

1.  Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
2.  Around 15 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or change management within investment banking, brokerage, or capital markets environments.
3.  Strong domain knowledge of Risk Management and Prime Brokerage products and workflows, including Margin Financing, Securities Lending, Stock Borrowing & Lending and Collateral Management.
4.  Strong experience with risk management systems, including position management, P&L, exposure, risk greeks is mandatory.
5.  Hands-on development experience with Java and enterprise application architectures is highly desirable.
6.  Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
7.  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
8.  Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions.
9.  Ability to contribute across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, implementation, and production support.
10.  Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
