About the job

Key Areas of Responsibilities
  1. Implement good development practices in the team
  2. Ensure projects are delivered on time
  3. Mentor and manage team members in the team
  4. Create development framework in team in accordance with corporate strategy
  5. Design, Build and Maintain efficient Market/Product data products in data team.
  6. Provide Data solutions using reusable frameworks
  7. Implement performance and Quality modules
  8. Help maintain code quality, organisation and automation
  9. Working as a part of Global team (HK, Pune, SZ, Beijing)
Requirements
  1. Computer Science or related degree with 10+ years of experience, preferably in Finance background.
  2. Experience of working in Java or python or Full stack developers.
  3. Having excellent knowledge on development life cycle and able to work with fast faced delivery cycles.
  4. Proven experience in enterprise level system design especially with Data systems and work flow systems.
  5. Excellent communication skills: Able to clearly explain complex problems with stakeholders
  6. Excellent analytical skills: Able to understand complex problems and analyse it by breaking down into smaller problems.
  7. Good team player: Able to solve complex problem by working as group and mentor junior developers.
  8. Hands-on familiarity with popular Java Frameworks or Python
  9. Experience or knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka is a plus
  10. Experience or knowledge of Market data systems is a plus
  11. Understanding on DevOps and CI/CD is a plus
  12. Knowing Market Data knowledge and previous work experience in Market Data team is a plus
