KPMG Hong Kong Advisory is experiencing strong growth in claims transformation and claims systems implementation across the insurance sector. We are seeking a Manager / Senior Manager to join our Financial Services Advisory team to lead and deliver complex claims transformation programmes for clients in Hong Kong and across Asia.
This role will suit a consulting or industry professional with hands-on experience in claims transformation, claims systems implementation, or core policy administration systems delivery, and familiarity with leading insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Bravura Solutions, Linedata, Sapiens, or Riskcovry.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end claims transformation and claims systems implementation projects for both individual and group insurance, from strategy and design through to implementation and post-go-live optimization.
- Manage client engagements, including project planning, governance, stakeholder management, issue resolution, and reporting to senior client sponsors and KPMG leadership.
- Translate business requirements into target operating models, process designs, and functional specifications for claims and policy administration systems.
- Work closely with technology vendors and client IT teams to design and implement digital insurance platforms.
- Oversee configuration, integration, testing, and migration activities for claims and core policy admin systems, ensuring delivery quality and alignment with regulatory, risk, and control requirements.
- Lead business analysis, requirements workshops, and user story definition for claims processes, FNOL, assessment, settlement, and interaction between policy, benefit, provider and claim information.
- Design and implement performance dashboards, MI/BI reporting, and controls to improve claims efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.
- Support business development activities, including proposal writing, solution design, and development of thought leadership materials for claims transformation.
- Coach and develop junior team members, providing guidance on delivery quality, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
- Contribute to the growth of the claims transformation and insurance advisory practice in Hong Kong and the wider Asia region.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Professional qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or insurance-related certifications are an advantage.
- 5+ years in consulting or industry roles focused on claims transformation, claims systems implementation, or core policy administration systems.
- Strong experience delivering projects involving Guidewire, Bravura Solutions, Linedata, Sapiens, Riskcovry, or similar insurance technology platforms.
- Proven track record managing medium to large-scale transformation projects, including multi-vendor delivery environments and complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Solid understanding of insurance claims processes and policy administration, with exposure to multiple product lines (e.g. general insurance, life insurance, health, bancassurance).
- Experience working with clients in Hong Kong, and preferably exposure to markets such as Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management, financial management, and status reporting.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, cross-border teams and to build strong relationships with clients, technology vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to translate business needs into practical solution designs.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to insurance and financial services in Hong Kong and the region.
- Based in Hong Kong, with willingness to travel to regional markets as required for client engagements
