Our client, a famous investment banking institution, is looking for a researcher.

Your new role

• Serve as a Subject-Matter Expert (SME) for assigned industries and sectors.
• Partner closely with Investment Banking deal teams to understand business requirements and deliver focused, high-quality research.
• Conduct company, industry, market, and competitor analysis using third party database
• Proactively identify and share relevant market trends, industry developments, and investment intelligence with bankers.
• Support bankers in extracting, analysing, and utilising data from research databases and information platforms.
• Drive continuous improvements in knowledge management, content organisation, and research processes.
• Develop best practices and scalable solutions that reduce repetitive work and improve efficiency for deal teams

What you'll need to succeed

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years working experience in business information/industry research in investment banking, equity research, consulting firm or other financial services institutions
• Language skills/Business level of English proficiency, Chinese Language required, both in verbal and in writing
• Experience working with and managing vendor relationships
• Experience with 3rd party databases
