About the role
Provide application support and production management for business-critical electronic trading, market connectivity, pricing, and execution platforms across APAC financial markets. Partner closely with front-office users, including traders, sales teams, and business stakeholders, to ensure the smooth operation of trading systems and timely resolution of production issues.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and technical incidents, coordinating with local and global technology teams where required.
• Manage and track production issues, service requests, and change activities, ensuring effective communication and prompt delivery of solutions.
• Participate in business initiatives, market and exchange-driven changes, system enhancements, and platform upgrades.
• Perform testing, release validation, and deployment activities for trading and business applications.
• Monitor system health, performance, and operational stability, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Follow established incident, problem, and change management processes in line with IT service management best practices.
• Maintain support documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories.
• Participate in rotational shift coverage, including occasional weekend and public holiday support as required.

About you

• Understanding of capital markets, electronic trading environments, or financial products.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications in a production environment.
• Familiarity with system monitoring, incident management, and operational support practices.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Scripting or automation experience using Python and/or Shell scripting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across business and technology teams.
• Fluent in English.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in application support, production support, trading technology support, or financial systems support.
