Crypto Quant Strategy Lead - Trend & CTA

The Role

1. Build and lead the Trend/CTA strategy team, owning the full lifecycle from signal research and deployment through to live P&L.
2. Independently run the team's capital account and risk budget (from USD 2M, scaling with performance), sizing position and managing drawdowns under a volatility-targeting framework.
3. Hire, develop, and manage the team's researchers and traders, building out multi-horizon, multi-instrument research and portfolio processes.
4. Own live deployment, roll and basis management across crypto (and/or tokenized US equities), and coordinate closely with the fund's risk function.

Trend & CTA — Strategy Focus

1. Trend & Momentum - time-series momentum, breakouts, and multi-horizon trend capture across tenors.
2. Multi-Instrument CTA - cross-instrument and cross-exchange deployment, volatility targeting, and position sizing.
3. Risk Management - drawdown control, correlation management, crisis alpha, and tail performance.
4. Execution & Capacity - medium-to-low-frequency turnover, slippage and roll costs, funding rates, and basis management.
