Our Banking client is seeking highly skilled and motivated contract low code developer of QlikSense. You will play a pivotal role in building the Risk Culture and Conduct Control Tower on QlikSense.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop a comprehensive Qlik Sense-based risk and control dashboard providing timely, risk-focused insights to management and stakeholders.
  2. Centralize operational risk data from various sources including online and offline data.
  3. Redesign and streamline existing operational risk dashboards for real-time monitoring and decision-making.
  4. Work through detailed requirements and data architecture design, including user story definition, data element documentation, data source inventory creation, data accessibility evaluation, and data profiling.
  5. Develop core dashboards, implement analytical models, and conduct internal reviews.
  6. Design and formalize workflows for ongoing data collection and maintenance, including creating maintenance guidebooks and providing training.
  7. Support implementation activities such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT), trial runs, sign-off, and approvals for management information.
  8. Conduct post-implementation reviews, monitor adoption, gather feedback, and plan future iterations.
  9. Integrate diverse data types, including KYC AML (CDD), Complaint (FMM), and Operational Risk (KRI, Incident, Third-Party Risk Management) and Sales Surveillance data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Technical Expertise:
  2. Proven experience in Qlik Sense development for creating dynamic dashboards and analytical management information.
  3. Experience with data integration and data injection into platforms is highly desirable.
  4. Experience with SharePoint for data management and action tracking.
  5. Understanding of data architecture design, data profiling, and data lineage.
  6. Analytical & Problem-Solving:
  7. Ability to identify and define user stories, document data elements, and evaluate data accessibility.
  8. Strong analytical skills to develop and implement analytical models for risk insights.
  9. A proactive approach to identifying operational inefficiencies and proposing automated solutions.
  10. Domain Knowledge:
  11. Understanding of operational risk management principles and control frameworks, particularly within a banking context.
  12. Familiarity audit trail requirements.
  13. Other Attributes:
  14. Excellent communication skills to gather requirements from various stakeholders and provide training.
  15. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  16. Agile and flexible mindset to adapt to evolving business needs and project priorities.
  17. Prior experience in a financial institution, especially with in-house development projects, is an advantage.
