Head of AML – Private Bank

We are partnering with an investment bank to find a Head of AML for their wealth management business.
You will lead the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) function for Private Wealth Management Business, overseeing transaction monitoring, client onboarding, and AML risk assessments while acting as the primary liaison with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). The role involves providing strategic AML advice to private banking business units, ensuring robust controls tailored to Ultra-high-net-worth wealth management, and directing employee training to foster a strong risk-aware culture.
The successful candidate must have 15+ years of financial crime compliance experience in private banking or wealth management, with deep knowledge of APAC market. Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is required.
