A well-established regional bank with a growing private banking platform, providing wealth management and investment solutions to high-net-worth clients.
Your new role
- Conduct cross-asset investment research with a focus on FX and macroeconomic trends, and contribute to the bank's CIO house view publications.
- Prepare weekly investment commentaries, market updates, and monthly house view reports for internal and client use.
- Support the management of CIO house view portfolios, including asset allocation, fund selection, performance monitoring, and trade execution.
- Partner closely with Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors to provide investment ideas, fund recommendations, and product sales support.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, while participating in process improvement and business enhancement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; CFA qualification or progress towards CFA is preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in investment research, advisory, fund management, FX advisory, or investment consulting within private banking, asset management, or financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of global macroeconomics, cross-asset allocation, portfolio construction, and financial markets.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Bloomberg, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and presentation capabilities.
