Senior Consultant

Our client is a global professional services firm seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Hong Kong regulatory consulting team, advising Asset Management and Alternative Investment clients across Hong Kong and internationally.

This is a client-facing role covering regulatory advisory, compliance frameworks, SFC requirements, licensing and regulatory change, with exposure to business development and regional projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advise clients on SFC regulatory and compliance matters
2. Support licensing, registrations, regulatory reviews and policy drafting
3. Assess regulatory developments and their impact on clients
4. Manage client relationships and deliver practical regulatory solutions
5. Support compliance reviews, testing and regulatory projects
6. Contribute to proposals, pitches and business development
7. Build relationships with clients, industry stakeholders and regional teams
8. Support regulatory updates, training and industry events

Requirements

1. Degree qualified with a minimum of 6 years’ relevant regulatory / compliance experience
2. Relevant experience in asset management, financial services, consulting, legal practice or a regulatory environment
3. Strong knowledge of SFC and asset management regulations
4. Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
5. Able to translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions
6. Strong analytical, organisational and project management skills
7. Consulting and business development experience advantageous
8. Proactive, commercially aware and able to work independently
