Operational Risk APAC

Our client is a global asset manager who is looking for an operational risk professional to join their Hong Kong team, covering the region. The team covers oversight of the key risk frameworks, policies and procedures, challenging and implementing risk mitigation and working closely with the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out risk based analytical reviews of business risk
2. Manage scenario planning exercises with the business as and when required
3. Ensure projects manage risk
4. Conduct active reading of issues, events and build consistency and standardisations across the firm.
5. Ensure regulatory risk requirements are met
6. Actively promote risk culture, risk awareness and best risk practices and training.

The ideal candidate will l have 7 to 11 years experience in operational risk including issue and incident management. Candidates from asset management are ideal for this role, however candidates from Investment banking would also be considered. Excellent written and spoken English is a must for this role.
