About the job

As aProduct Specialist , you will take ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle formutual funds, bonds and structured products . You will be responsible for product screening, selection, ongoing due diligence, and translating complex financial concepts into actionable ideas for our relationship managers and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Selection & Onboarding: Lead the research, screening, and selection of third-party investment products (Mutual Funds, Bonds, and Structured Products ) to our product selection with customers’ needs.
  2. Due Diligence & Risk Management: Spearhead initial and continuous product due diligence. Evaluate product mechanics, risk-return profiles, and underlying asset classes to ensure strict adherence to internal risk parameters and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  3. Front Office Advisory & Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for the sales and advisory teams. Provide timely product guidance and support client pitching when necessary.
  4. Content & Sales Collateral Creation: Formulate regular market updates, product write-ups, one-pagers, brochures, and pitch books in promoting new product or campaign launches.
  5. Platform & Counterparty Management: Manage relationships with external fund houses and product issuers to optimize product suite on our platform, onboard new counterparties, and expand product shelf diversity.
  6. User Journey Optimization: Partner closely with product managers to design and enhance client workflows for product subscription and portfolio management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above inFinance, Economics, Business Administration , Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  2. Experience: Minimum8 years of relevant experience in product management or investment advisory within a private bank, wealth management firm, or brokerage.
  3. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of multi-asset classes, including fund mechanics, global bond markets, equity derivatives, and payout structures of OTC structured products.
  4. Licensing & Certification:
  5. Relevant local regulatory licenses (e.g.,SFC Type 1, 4 for Hong Kong, or equivalent regional equivalents) are highly preferred.
  6. Professional certifications such asCFA, FRM, or CFP are considered a strong advantage.
  7. Languages: Fluent in written and spokenEnglish and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) .
