(Senior) Business Development Manager (Health Insurance)

Your new role

• Drive business growth and develop the broker/intermediary channel, with a focus on medical and health insurance solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance brokers, consultants, corporate clients and business partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and formulate sales strategies to achieve business and revenue targets.
• Work closely with broker partners to understand client needs and provide suitable medical, health and employee benefits solutions.
• Manage the full business development cycle, including prospecting, relationship development, proposal preparation, negotiation and business closing.
• Collaborate with internal teams including underwriting, operations, product and marketing to ensure smooth implementation and servicing.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and broker developments to identify new growth opportunities.
• Support strategic initiatives and channel development projects where required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Solid experience in business development, account management or broker channel management within the insurance industry.
• Experience in medical insurance, health insurance or Employee Benefits (EB) is welcomed.
• Candidates with an established broker network and a strong understanding of the Hong Kong insurance market will be advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, commercially minded and comfortable working towards business targets.
• Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for the Senior Manager level.
