Job Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Portfolio Management

  • Develop Sponsorship Strategy: Design and implement the firm's comprehensive external partnership and sponsorship roadmap aligned with overall corporate business goals, brand identity, and regional marketing priorities.
  • Market & Segment Analysis: Identify evolving consumer trends and industry data to scout high-impact partnership opportunities. Tailor initiatives to specific insurance lines of business, such as Life, Health, Property & Casualty (P&C), or wealth management segments.
  • Commercial Assessment: Evaluate inbound and outbound proposals against strategic metrics, assessing audience relevance, risk, brand fit, and potential Return on Investment (ROI).

Partnership Development & Contract Negotiation

  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary relationship lead for external rights holders, cultural or sports organizations, corporate partners, and industry bodies.
  • Contract & Commercial Negotiation: Lead commercial discussions and contract developments. Coordinate closely with internal Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Procurement teams to ensure complex insurance regulatory standards and brand guidelines are met.
  • Bespoke Alliance Building: Cultivate unique, high-value partnerships and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives that reinforce the insurer's position as a community-minded organization and a thought leader.

Integrated Campaign Activation & Execution

  • Omnichannel Activation: Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of experiential marketing, events, and activations across paid, owned, and earned channels (e.g., concert/sports sponsorships, industry webinars, and major awareness initiatives).
  • Lead Generation & Cross-Selling: Design segment-specific programs leveraging the partnerships to feed the sales pipeline. Partner with CRM teams to optimize cross-selling or up-selling strategies that expand customer wallet share.
  • Agency & Vendor Governance: Manage creative agencies, event production vendors, and activation workstreams to ensure on-time and premium-quality delivery.

Governance, Budgeting & Performance Tracking

  • Financial Management: Own the allocated sponsorship and marketing budget, providing accurate quarterly forecasts, expense optimization, and comprehensive ROI reporting to executive leadership.
  • KPI & Performance Measurement: Establish standardized tracking frameworks and metrics (such as brand lift, media value, and new prospect acquisition rates) to continuously evaluate partnership efficiency.
  • Executive Reporting: Prepare regular updates, performance briefings, and risk assessment portfolios for the Executive Director and senior leadership stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • 15 years of proven experience from sponsorships, partnerships and brand marketing
  • Fluent Cantonese and English
